Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream - Review -

I have a little review for you guys!
I (accidentally) hauled some Korean skincare products again♥

So today I'm reviewing Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream!
I was supposed to buy a new eye cream, but got distracted and bought this instead. I had earlier received some samples of this product and was so sold. I have been eyeing these like two years, until now finally bought it! image

So, to the review:
There is very little info available in the official site:
Skin Concern DRY SKIN
Volume/Size 80ml
It promises to give you a sleek, resilient, dewy and moisturized skin.
From somewhere else I read that this has exfoliating properties too.

Ingredients (from Amazon):
Water, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone, Sodium Polyacrylate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Propolis Extract, Honey Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Soluble Collagen, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Allantoin, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Palmitic Acid, Sorbitol, Malic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Trideceth-6, Methylparaben, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Fragrance, Sodium Polyacrylate, Disodium EDTA, Yellow 5, Yellow 6

According to cosdna, this seems to have some irritants. In addition to moisturizers, the good things this contains are some antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances.
Cool, but what on earth is Royal Jelly?
Look at the packaging, isn't it so cute?image
Container it's sturdy, hard plastic, shaped as an adorable red apple.
Although I knew that the cream was 80 ml, it still was bigger than I expected!
Once the container is empty, it will serve as a cute storage box for something small,
I will maybe put my rings there.

Product comes with a tiny spatula:

Altough I like the packaging, it's both a pro and a con. I mean, it's not very practical.
As a practical person, I would like my skin care products to be practical too. See why?

Under the lid you can find thin piece of plastic as an inner lid, which is not enough to keep product for leaking. When I got mine, the product was well sealed outside, but the cream had leaked past the inner lid.... So, I doubt that I can't just toss this into luggage and go. Eventhough the package is cute, a squeeze tube, a pump or something would have been better. The spatula isn't very practical either, but it's still more hygienic than putting your fingers in the cream. I wash the spatula with soap after every use, but I know that would be too much hassle for some people.

And to the cream itself:

I absolutely love the scent of this product! image
I admit that the scent is one of the strongest points of this product. The scent is like fresh juicy apples, with a hint of honey, it's soooooo lovely. The scent doesn't give an artificial feeling, it's just so natural and delicious.

Only a tiny amount of cream is needed for the whole face. The cream is more like gel, easy to spread, sticky at first but absorbs well. This does ok job with moisturizing and doesn't break me up. Why I like this so much - scent aside - is because this calms my skin and reduces pimples. I guess it's because of the honey in the product, since honey is antibacterial, or maybe it's because of the other anti-inflammatory ingredients. My skin seems less irritated and just simply looks better, smooth and plump. This has worked wonders for my under eye wrinkles and dark circles,
I don't look so zombie anymore.

 Final verdict:imageimageimageimageimage
I absolutely love the product, it really works wonders, and I would probably even buy again,
even though the container is a bit problematic.

Succesful adulting

The title.
I mean, everyone is there like having a balanced life and I'm here like eh what,
all that escapism (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

So, to celebrate, I bought myself some stickers:

I love stickers♥ these were so cute I couldn't resist.

8 sheets of cuteness! I just don't know how to use these...

One recent and one older outfit, both lazy:

I'm wearing mainly my healthcare uniform in school and there haven't been any freetime activities, so I haven't chance to dress nicely... -__-

I have ruined my life completely now.
 I started playing Touken Ranbu.
You know, that browser game with handsome sword boys. I fell in love with characters at first sight, so I just HAD to start playing the game. I certainly am a sucker for cute anime boys....

It could be alright if I was playing just one game, but I'm also playing Love Live!.

It's a rhythm action game. I watched the Love Live! anime last summer,
but I have been playing the game only since last November.

Events are killing me, I mean, there is a chance to get my favourite girl Nozomi, but it really takes effort to get her... When there was Nico's event I played like crazy but still didn't get a doctor Nico card. ;__; But I will fight hard for bunny Nozomi♥

Call me a trash if you want, I'm okay with that

I have been trying to eat more like vegan.
I eat mostly lacto-ovo-vegetarian food (fish and chicken seldom, only when I visit my parents), but I want to get rid of dairy and eggs... I just need more good and easy recipes.

Udon with roasted vegetables and mushrooms
Today we made some (late) laskiaispulla
(traditional finnish buns with jam and cream)

Photo-shooting is always fun but such a hassle.

The Chaotic Brilliance

It's already January!
January has turned out as I have feared - it's cold outside (-25 °C) and I'm busy.
In addition to my studies, I'm working half-time. We have one course in school in which we have to be prepared to be on call up to 50 hours in a row for one assignment..... which is pretty insane. Luckily that task was really interesting, and I got away with only 24 hours.

Christmas went past like always, spent it with family.
Nails for Christmas:
For the New Year:
(I didn't get better pictures, the nails were already so ruined and fixed so many times that ombre was gone and snowflakes were not looking like snowflakes anymore.....)

Before Christmas, I bought present to myself:

Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup setting spray!
- review -

De-Slick claims to "weightlessly control oil, deflect surface shine and keep skin looking beautifully matte".

I have already mentioned that my skin is oily, thus makeup doesn't stay put.
This product is really good - my makeup stays on miraculously well!
My makeup looked good even after a match of floorball, so this can tolerate even sweating.
I like how this takes powdery look away. The finish is just amazing. The mist feels light on skin, not sticky or tight, just like there's nothing extra.

However, honestly speaking, the spray doesn't help to get rid of shine completely.
My face still starts to shine, but the shine is postponed and minor.
I really like the product a lot, and would like to love it, but oil control isn't that great. There indeed is some but it's not enough. I'm still going to use this since this helps my makeup to stay put (I have looong workdays) and see what's going to happen. At first I suspected that this caused breakouts, but I continued using this and more breakouts didn't emerge. So, after all, I'm quite happy with this product, it's not awesome, but still helps so much.

My christmas presents were mainly useful stuff that I had wished for,
but some surprises also, like this:

Avon pink bronzing pearls from my sister!
This is my first blush of this kind, i have always loved pearl blushes~ Color is lovely too~

And Avon perfume.
I have to confess that this is my first perfume ever (okay, I had a Snoopy perfume when I was a child...). I prefer mild fragrances, so this is just perfect. Elegant, not too overwhelming.

We tried making okonomiyaki!

Since we happened to have some kimchi, those ended up as kimchi okonomiyaki.
Instead of iron plate we obviously used regular frying pan:

So yummy!♥
Sadly we didn't have neither bonito flakes nor mayonnaise (and no hashioki..).
But we had real Japanese okonomiyaki sauce at least!

I have a weird feeling that something is wrong, but I don't know what that something might be.
